Once you get a feel for the controls this game is a blast. Personally i turn off the auto play calling, and i dont use the accelerated clock. SO far this game is a lot of fun.

As the title says, this is the first year I buy Madden for my PS3. I've purchase Madden games before so I kind of new what to expect but this my first on a Next-Gen console. To me, the graphics and gameplay are great. Play-calling system seems fluid and easy to navigate. The commentating sounds really good as well and keeps the game entertaining. I can't compare it to the previous Madden's so I can't say if its an improvement or not but for me its a solid Football game. I recommend it if you've never played Madden and are on the fence on purchasing this game.

Alright. I just picked this up today, and i've been playing for about three hours, so I think thats enough to base my reveiw on. Ok, i'll start by saying that I missed Madden 10, so I can't tell you any comparisons between the two. Now onto my reveiw.
This is a very solid game in my opinion. The graphics have improved to the point where when you first start to play, it'll take ALL of your breath away. Each player looks very realistic, along with very realistic lighting, stadiums, weather, and movements. Commentary is also pretty good, and features the Madden debut of Gus Johnson, (yes, Tom Hammond has been replaced :I). Anyway, the big new feature this year is the Gameflow play-calling feature, where the game chooses the best play based on the current situation. Alot of times it'll work, and alot of times, it'll fail. Its risky and useful at the same time, but if your in the fourth quarter and down by a touchdown or a feild goal with less than a minute left in the game, then I would leave it alone. The game also has a locomotion animation system, where you control the lower body with the left analog stick, and control the upper with the right. It brings a new, more realistic feel to the game, and I like it.
Now onto the game modes. Superstar mode is pretty much the same, and so is the Franchise mode. Online however has never been better. Now theres a feature that allows you and two other people to play on the same team, against another three. It's called Team Play, and its pretty fun. But be aware. You can only access Online play if you buy Madden 11 new. If you buy it used then you'll have to pay for the code, which sucks I know. But hey! Its worth it.
Overall Madden 11's a pretty good game. I definatley recommend it to someone looking for a great football game to play. 5/5. GO SAINTS!! WHO DAT?!

I highly recommend this game from the madden lover to even the casual football fan, it is definietly a must have! I've been playing madden for at least 10-15 years and this is one of the best, if not the best, games they've put out yet! I absolutely love it!

I just got this game yesterday, and so far it is awesome. The graphics are great, the sound is stellar, and the presentation is perfect. I really enjoy the new Game Flow option. Key word- option. You do not have to choose to use game flow. Game flow picks the plays for you, like a coach would. This makes sense, because you play as the team, not the coach. It's fun and it gives you a chance to try new plays that you may not think of using. You have the option to not use this feature if you choose. The controls are easy to pick up and every play feels smooth. I also got a $20 game credit with this purchase :) I really enjoy this game and I'm excited to keep playing.
